The UGC has received numerous complaints about the non-refund of fees from several Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs).
The notification from the UGC states that they have sent emails and reminders to all Higher Educational Institutions, urging them to address the complaints from students who are seeking a refund of fees after transferring to other institutions. The UGC also reminded the universities that failure to comply with the regulations would result in punitive action as outlined in the applicable guidelines.
