PlanetSpark Partners with Vobble to Give K12 Students Real-World Voiceover Experience

PlanetSpark, a leading K12 edtech platform for Communication Skills learning, has entered into a dynamic partnership with Vobble, an innovative audio content platform catering to children aged 4 to 12 years. Through this collaboration, PlanetSpark students will have the unique opportunity to become voiceover artists for audiobooks and podcasts on Vobble, leveraging their communication skills to gain exposure to a global audience.

Founded in 2023 by Sowmya Jagannath and Neha Sharma, Vobble provides an engaging, screen-free alternative for children by offering immersive, educational audio content. The platform, which gained significant attention after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 3, has quickly expanded with support from investors like Lumikai and Blume Founders Fund. Partnering with major publishers such as HarperCollins India, Scholastic, Hachette, and Amar Chitra Katha, Vobble delivers a variety of content, including stories, music, and podcasts designed to both educate and inspire young minds.

This partnership marks a special Children’s Day initiative, with select PlanetSpark students recording their voiceovers for Vobble’s podcasts and audiobooks at a state-of-the-art studio in Bangalore. The recording sessions will continue throughout the year, with students contributing to a variety of podcasts, series, and shows. To ensure a consistent flow of talent, PlanetSpark and Vobble will hold a selection process twice a year, providing ongoing opportunities for students to participate.

Maneesh Dhooper, Co-founder of PlanetSpark, shared, “At PlanetSpark, we are committed to offering our students holistic exposure. This partnership with Vobble enables them to apply their communication skills in a professional setting, giving them the chance to reach a global audience. It’s an exciting way for students to refine their public speaking abilities and understand the real-world applications of their learning.”

Vobble’s CEO and Co-founder, Neha Sharma, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “At Vobble, we believe in empowering kids by creating audio content for kids, by kids. We are thrilled to partner with PlanetSpark to highlight the talent of their exceptional students in Vobble’s stories, music, and podcasts.”

The initial tenure of this partnership is one year, with both companies focused on helping children develop public speaking skills through real-world applications. In addition to gaining invaluable experience, students who participate will receive exciting hampers and vouchers from Vobble as a token of appreciation. They will also receive a work credit and a letter of recognition for their contributions, with their work featured on the Vobble app. This exposure will not only help students further hone their communication skills but also open doors to potential career opportunities as voiceover artists, voice actors, and in related fields.
