CBSE issues warning against fake syllabus, sample question papers for 2024-25 session

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently issued a crucial advisory, urging students and parents to remain vigilant against misleading information regarding the syllabus, resources, and sample question papers for the upcoming 2024-25 academic session. The board has raised concerns over certain online platforms disseminating unverified news about sample question papers and curriculum, cautioning individuals against relying on such sources.

The advisory emphasizes the prevalence of outdated links and inaccurate news circulating on online portals, falsely claiming to provide updated information for the session 2024-25. CBSE stresses the potential harm of information sourced from unauthorized channels, highlighting the risk of confusion among schools, students, parents, and other stakeholders.

In addition to this advisory, CBSE has taken proactive measures to address notable inconsistencies between theory and practical scores in specific subjects. Recent directives have been issued to schools, mandating a thorough evaluation of practical examinations. This move comes in response to findings revealing significant differences between theory and practical marks among a substantial percentage of students in approximately 500 CBSE-affiliated schools, based on data from previous years' results.

Meanwhile, CBSE has announced the schedule for supplementary exams for Class 10 and 12 students, set to commence from July 15. The Class 10 CBSE supplementary exam 2024 is slated to conclude on July 22, while the Class 12 supplementary exam will be held on a single day, July 15. This initiative aims to provide students with an opportunity to improve their performance and achieve academic success.
