Dr. Gajulapally Radha Krishna, Director Academics, KLH Global Business School, Hyderabad said that the AICTE’s decision to introduce new scholarships specifically targeting girls pursuing BBA, BCA, and BMS programs is a commendable step towards promoting gender inclusivity in higher education.
Dr. Radha Krishna also said, “This initiative not only acknowledges the importance of empowering women in traditionally male-dominated fields but also addresses the existing gender gap in STEM and management sectors”.
“By providing financial support to deserving female students, the AICTE is not just investing in their academic journey but also fostering a more diverse and equitable learning environment. Such initiatives are crucial in breaking barriers and encouraging more young women to pursue careers in areas where they are underrepresented”, the director Academics added.
“It’s heartening to see organizations like AICTE taking proactive measures to address gender disparities and create equal opportunities for all aspiring scholars,” said the director.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has recently announced a new scholarship scheme for girl students enrolled in the BBA, BCA, and BMS programs.
